HDA的诞生源于个人对健康数据碎片化和分散现状的沮丧。即使在理想情况下，实现了完全互操作性（这在短期内几乎不可能实现），影响实际决策的关键日常细节也无法被记录到临床笔记中——这导致医疗服务出现漏洞，使真正的预防几乎不可能。两位联合创始人都曾亲身经历过这些挑战——一位是临床医生，同时也是一名神经多样性患者，需要用四种语言在多个国家/地区寻求医疗保健服务；另一位是慢性病患者，正在与获取医疗和残疾支持的官僚主义噩梦作斗争。我们意识到，现有的解决方案是为医疗机构而非患者设计的——而改变现状的唯一途径是赋予个人掌控自身数据的能力。通过HDA，我们正在打造一款我们自己以及无数其他处境相同的人都渴望拥有的工具。

What if Health Data Avatar goes bankrupt?

We are currently self-financed and will definitely stay independent of big tech and governments, while integrating into healthcare on users' terms, keeping privacy and active consent  our core philosophy. While we are hoping to start charging soon and believe in the cross-border future of HDA, we also realise that many startups don't make it. As first and foremost we are patient activists, we really don't want to add to your data nightmare. So we made a pledge: even in a worst-case scenario, your data will stay securely available for five years or until you reclaim it, giving you plenty of time to download or delete everything on your terms.
